From Battambang to Phnom-Penh and back home

Waiting for the departure of the bus to Phnom Penh

Half way there was a short stop for food and toilet

Even the main road to Phnom Penh is not so busy

Back in Phnom Penh we found a nice hotel opposite the National Museum

Phnom Penh has stil some nice colonial architecture left.

Many of these French colonial style buildings have been destroyed.

Some have been restored nicely

We went to the Ponlok restaurant for our last dinner

Our last day in Phnom Penh

The Ponlok is touristy, but the food was good

It was only the next morning that we found that this is a cremation pyre.
