Photography

I have always been an eager photographer. My first SLR camera I bought when I still was a student, back in the sixties. It was a sturdy Praktika, completely manual.
The second one was the famous Olympus OM-2 with the TTL metering system reading light reflected from a special reflective pattern on the first shutter curtain. No autofocus though.
The next one was again an Olympus, the futuristic IS-1, looking almost like a videocamera. A very userfriendly camera, still in very good condition and giving excellent results.
But the Digital Era arrived, with the PC and the Internet. So I bought the Canon Powershot G5, a versatile digital camera with many possibilities.
Most of the pictures in the galleries have been taken with the Canon G5. But I have a huge (~15.000) collection of colour slides, taken with the Olympus SLR's during my travels all over the world. I would like to scan a selection of this collection and put them on the Internet. But this will take time, lots of time...
