The region in the south of the province Noord-Brabant, near the Belgian border, is called the "Kempen".
It is a picturesque mix of farmland, forest and small villages.
On 9-5-2003 I have been walking part of a long-distance path, the "Vennekespad".
The length of this part is about 25 km.
