De Ronde Hoep

 

About one year ago I have bought a Garmin Etrex GPS. GPS stands for Global Positioning System.

It is possible to use the GPS data as input for computer software. The result can be seen at the right.

Last week (28-9-2002) the weather was nice and I decided to make my favourite bicycle trip around the Ronde Hoep. This is a polder in the 'Green Heart of Holland'.
With my digital camera I have taken a number of pictures along the route.

By clicking on the blue dots you can see a picture taken from that spot.
I had planned to visit good friends, Johan and Edmund, living in Vinkeveen, but when I arrived (unexpectedly) at their place, it turned out that they were not at home. So their picture has been taken at another occasion

The whole trip was about 52 km
