Trip to Macau and Hongkong with Pat and Roger (3)

|
The second day (29-3) we have visited Coloane Island. Here still quite a lot of nostalgic atmosphere has been preserved. Difficult to imagine that the last assault by South China pirates took place here in 1910. Now everything is quiet, waiting for the assault by real-estate developers?

After our lunch we went back by bus to Macau. There I visited the peaceful Lou Lim Loc gardens.

The mansion and gardens once belonged to the wealthy Lou family. After my visit I climbed the Guia Hill, where I went looking for a geocache. On my way up I met two guys, Oui and Fritz, who were interested in geocaching, so we searched for the cache together.
